Duskie Estes Ends Her Four-Episode Run on Next Iron Chef

Well, as of last night’s episode of Next Iron Chef, that’s all she wrote for Duskie Estes’s brush with chef-reality TV. Duskie Estes Finally Pleases the Judges With Her Plating on Next IronWe thought we’d check in on our local representative this season on The Next Iron Chef, Sonoma’s Duskie Estes. It seems she’s already become a fan favorite on the show, second only to Mario Pagan, who’s now been eliminated. And it’s looking like she may go far! Watch this clip from the judging of last night’s episode in which the challenge was “resourcefulness” and Duskie used her NorCal, farm-to-table ways to wow the judges with both a scorpion fish dish, and a bacon-wrapped sardine stuffed with figs, hazelnuts, and scorpion fish liver and heart.
