Raymond Lamar Huffman was born March 25, 1936 in Carrollton, Georgia, the only boy of six children, to the late Robert and Ida Mae Huffman. Raymond was a Christian, and he loved putting together puzzles, playing golf, and cleaning. His love and passion for cooking led him to a long career of 24 years serving as a chef for Haliburton Oil Rig, Key West Resort, and numerous celebrities and politicians.
Raymond Lamar Huffman, 83, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, March 27th, 2019 at West Georgia Hospice surrounded by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents and three sisters; Raynell Hoffman, Wyolene Tannell, and Joyce Marie Young.
Survivors include his three children; Kim (Keith) Arnod, Mark (Wanda) Huffman, and Tangie (Daryl) Jones, and two sisters; Jean Brock of Newnan, GA and Mary Helen Cowart of Macon, GA; grandchildren, Heather and Nick Rider, Dusty and Heidi Jones, Taylor Andriate, Clay Andriate, and Nick Andriate; and several great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will have a gathering of friends and family starting at 6:00 pm on Friday, March 29, 2019 at the home of Mrs. Tangie Jones, 184 Overbrook Drive, LaGrange, GA 30240.

Raymond Keith Huffman
Beloved husband and father, Raymond K Huffman passed away suddenly on May 9th, 2024 in Conroe, Texas. Raymond was the last born to Lawrence Huffman and Bobbie Cargle on October 29, 1961 in Natchitoches La.
A graveside service to honor the life of Raymond will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in Provencal Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Saturday and then procession to Provencal Cemetery, Provencal, LA.
He had an excellent work ethic and was respected by all he dealt with in his work community. Raymond loved his family very much. He would always greet you with a big smile and willing to lend a helping hand when needed. He loved fishing and hunting and the outdoors. May his kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for life remain in our hearts forever and always be our guide.
Survived by many loved ones who will miss him terribly are his wife of 41 years, Sharon Huffman; his son Keith Huffman, daughter Stacey Huffman Brantley and Steven Hajek, daughter Tracey Huffman; 5 grandchildren, Dominick, Kacey, Jay, Wyatt and Garrett; his siblings, Ricky Huffman wife Sue and Danny Huffman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
