Her father served as a soldier in the Special Forces for 34 years.[1][2] She graduated from Jeungpyeong Elementary School, Jeungpyeong Girls' Middle School, Daeseong Girls' Commercial High School and Dankook University's Department of Performing Arts with a major in Theatre and Film.[3][4]
